Pardon me. Isn't sovereign wealth fund supposed to be... sovereign?

So we have the top 2 executives in Temasek who are Americans (?) and possibly Israelis (dual citizenship?). When push comes to shove, where do their loyalties lie?

There are many very prominent Indians (from India) in the banking industry as well. No offence to the Indians, but there would be a furore if we had 2 Indians at the top of Temasek. For that matter, we would cry foul too if they were bright, brilliant Arabs, mainland Chinese, Filipinos, Russians, Africans, American Indians... you get my point.

Lest I be called xenophobic or anti-semitic, we have our own talented, indigenous Malays, Chinese, Indians, Eurasians and Jews (remember David Marshall?). Our people are well-travelled and have worked in global markets. We must control our own destiny. Temasek can be advised by foreigners. We need to listen to others, but the final say must rest in our hands. CEO is too powerful a position to give away.
