Dr Chee Soon Juan delivers the SDP's Lunar New Year message. He talks about the hardship of working Singaporeans and calls on the people to make Singapore a place where competition for jobs, especially with foreigners, is fair.

    A good message that directly addresses the concerns of the majority in Singapore which is under a neo-con, neo-liberal regime only interested in looking after the super rich, their cronies, money launderers, economic criminals, etc, etc.

    Correct me if I'm wrong. I believe I heard some statistics about one suicide per day in Singapore. How true is that ?

    Well done, Dr. Chee. A thoughtful, clear, precise message delivered with sincerity. It was a pleasant contrast to the old man's haughty, over-enunciated Mandarin tones spreading his usual F.U.D.

    April Fool, according to the ST report below, the total number of suicides last year was 364. That's about one per day.
