The Singapore Democrats hosted a football carnival which took place at Kickersbay@Indian Association 1 Oct 2011.
Featuring 13 teams from around the island that competed for the SDP Challenge Trophy, they were FC Fushan Warriors, Cheetahs, Team Guragas, Paix, F. Square, Red Alert, Turtle, Black Is Back!, and Galacticos. There were two women teams: Fireflames A and Fireflames B. Two teams from the SDP (SDP-Senior and SDP-Women) also took part in the competition.
We congratulate team PAIX for winning the SDP Challenge Trophy, team Fushan Warriors and the Galaticos for being the 1st & 2nd runner up respectively.
This event was yet another first by the SDP and we look forward to it becoming an annual affair.
