Happy National Day? Tak Boleh Tahan!
If a picture is worth a thousand words, this one writes a library. It tells the story of the political elite glorifying themselves in ever larger-than-life images while they see not the toil of little Singaporeans.

Tak Boleh Tahan! @ Toa Payoh, May Day
Organised by the SDP, Tak Boleh Tahan! Loosely translated: I can not take it anymore! The May Day event @ Toa Payoh Central was another SDP effort in the Tak Boleh Tahan! campaign to highlight the plights of ordinary Singaporeans on the rising cost of living.

There were Tak Boleh Tahan! T-shirts and buttons on sale. The two public petitions were to call for the PAP governmental responsibility in solving the problems of inflation and poverty, as well as the ministerial transparency and accountability regarding the recent COI report on the Mas Selamat saga.

This event was reported Live from Toa Payoh with online updater Twitter.

Organised by the SDP, Tak boleh tahan! Loosely translated: I can not take it anymore! As consumers of many of the Government services, we have the right to demand fair prices, and to put a stop to the exploitative price hikes of the PAP Government. The red-shirt protest was held in front of Parliament House on 15 March 2008.
