Imagine how billions can be hoarded through laundering by corrupted politicians at the expense of the country and its citizens;ultimately leading to a nation's downfall. Imagine when political leaders promised their voters a "Switzerland-standard-of-living" but landed them in "Swaziland-standard" instead! The current economic crisis is the result of sinister exploitation by such tax havens.If left unchecked in time,a nation's coffers may evaporate at the speed of lightning...leaving a small number of tycoons reaping the fruits of the majority. It is very much like embezzlement on a mega scale yet without the criminal accountability. My salute to US President Obama for such a moral and timely act!
